HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOL
In addition to the above factors, due to the Covid-19 crisis all around the globe, we have prepared health and safety protocols which implement the World Health Organization’s recomendations, in order to bring our Guests the best possible experience and minimize the inconvenience associated with the pandemic.
Sanitized areas
All areas are frequently cleaned and additionaly disinfected with sanitizing liquid when our Guests are outside.
Towels
Towels are changed daily.
Amenities
The rooms are stocked with essential amenities such as shampoo, soap, conditioner and balm.
Special kit
A special kit for Guests is available on request, containing a mask and alcohol-based sanitizing liquid in a small bottle.
Sanitizers
Sanitizing stations are placed all around the Residence.
Security
Our Guests’ safety and privacy is of the utmost importance.
Even though Zanzibar is one of the safest places in Africa, the warrior tribe of Maasai provide additional safety for our Guests, providing 24-hour security for the facility. The Maasai are aided by a professional, local security company. Our friendly relations with the local community are transferred by local residents to our Guests.
Every room is equipped with a safe to provide maximum security for the personal belongings of Guests.
Cast Away Residence is the only accomodation in Zanizbar featuring beach-lockers for private belongings.
The lives of the local people depend on tourism and it is in their interest to have good relations with the Guests. Yet we advise our Guests to use common sense when exploring Zanzibar, visiting new places and meeting new people.
